As an independent funeral service provider benefitting from well-respected and professional staff, we understand the needs of individuals and families when it comes to arranging a funeral. Our website offers a seamless experience when it comes to planning a funeral. An unattended funeral can be arranged completely online if you so wish, but no matter which type of funeral you are looking to book, we are always available via email, telephone and video call when required.
What We Do
We are the United Kingdom's ONLY not-for-profit funeral directors who are able to offer both unattended cremations AND Burials.
Whether you choose our unattended cremation option at £825 or unattended burial option at £1750, you can be assured that by arranging with us you will receive the highest level of service at the most reasonable price available.

Unattended Cremations
With an unattended cremation, we arrange to collect the person who has died, take them into our care, complete all necessary paperwork and convey them in one of our bespoke vehicles on the day of the cremation to the crematorium. You will be advised of this date as soon as we have it (and not less that 7 days before it) so that you can perhaps make arrangements to raise a glass on the day. We will also arrange to return the ashes to you within 14 days after the date of the cremation.

Unattended Burials
With an unattended burial, we arrange to collect the person who has died, take them into our care, complete all necessary paperwork and convey them in one of our bespoke vehicles on the day of the burial to the cemetery/natural burial ground. We will provide you with the grave/plot number and, if you would like, a wooden grave marker and memorial sapling to identify the grave.

What makes us unique?
As a not-for-profit community interest company, our constitution dictates that any profits made are re-invested into the company and to help the families that it was designed to. In addition, Directors of the company are not salaried.
Funeral poverty affects 1 in 7 families in the UK and many more have no alternative but to borrow in order to pay for a funeral - everyone deserves a respectful send-off at the end of their life and it shouldn't increase the already stressful and emotional time for those affected by the death.
We have two main goals - the first is to provide a simple and respectful funeral at the best possible value to those responsible for meeting the cost. Our second goal is to create a fund from any profits generated that will go towards reducing the cost of funerals where possible, ie. providing financial assistance to those who might otherwise find it difficult to pay for a funeral.
Longer term, a proportion of this fund will also go towards the creation of a natural burial ground for those who either do not like the idea of - or for religious/personal reasons cannot undergo - cremation. This in turn will enable us to heavily subsidise the cost of a burial.
It is also worth noting that ALL of our funerals - whether cremation or burial - are carbon neutral, if not ultimately carbon negative. This is achieved by planting a sufficient amount of trees (for which memorial plaques/markers will be available) to counteract the carbon produced by the complete funeral process.
